Franz Neujahr 16-March-1944 - Crash location

Uffz. Franz Neujahr from 8./JG 3 was shot down on 16th March 1944 after air combat near Ulm.

I've got several eyewitness reports about aerial combats near Gerstetten with 3 downed planes. 2 of them are clarifyed (Gerlitz and Skilton), but the third one is already unclear.

The eyewitnesses mentioned, that a ME 109 who shot down the US fighter (Skilton) crashed near Gussenstadt after he bailed out. So it is possible that this was Neujahr?

Would ne great to hear your opinions.

Regards,
Alex
