Flugbuch flight type translations & terms
Dear members,
Could someone help me with getting access to the following web page? https://www.luftwaffe-research-group...s-terms.12832/ So, this thread is called 'Flugbuch flight type translations & terms' and I have been able to access this web page earlier. At this moment though, the website asks for a log-in and I don't have log-in credentials. I have to be a member of the LRG unfortunately. I would be very grateful. Kind regards, Timon |

Thank you Larry. Indeed, your wish became true. Wolfgang (GrafWolf) is helping right now.
@Junker The option to register is not there unfortunately. The web page indeed says "Please register for an account to be able to post" but only the option ' Log in ' remains. |

If this thread is moving on to discussing the merits of other forums, then I should move it to the "links" section.

Re: Flugbuch flight type translations & terms
Hello,
I have found the following entry in Flugbücher of Kampfgeschwader 2 (Dornier Do 217): 'UKW' The definition is not on the LRG page. Does UKW have to do with the enigma machine? UKW as in Umkehrwalze ? Thank you, Timon |

Re: Flugbuch flight type translations & terms
UKW (Ultrakurzwelle) is simply vHF very high frequency.
