what is this part ?

Hi everybody

I wonder what is this part.

I found it on a Arado96 crash site. I first thought it was not related to the aircraft (it looks like craftmanship, not really industrial), but then, I found the same part on a Do217 crash site.

Any idea, please ?

Thanks KrisJG3 but the link takes me to a 16 mm Luftwaffe training film.
Could you post a picture of the item as shown on the website ?
(I agree it looks like hand made).

ClinA78 Nicolas, if it is a element of fuel filter, I think that somebody would have pointed out..

So, the mystery remains, so far.
