Images of War series "Fighters under Construction" quality
I got this book in this week and on browsing noted the quite poor quality of the photos. I compared the book to another softcover book on a similar topic (Joshua Stoff's American Aircraft Production) and unfortunately the quality of the Images of War book pales in comparison. Why? Who has messed-up? I have seen better reproduction in wartime Aircraft Production journals.

I agree! It seems stupid to write it but I have got several books from this series and in my view the print quality does not vary and is quite poor...

Re: Images of War series "Fighters under Construction" quality
I have seen only one other in the series, Goss's Do 17 and it was definitely better, though still not on par with Stoff and other top quality books.
