Re: Last word (help with Sütterlin)
I'd say the last bit is "keine 250 kg Bomben."
Not so sure about the first two words. One of our German members will no no correct me but AKAIK it can't be "roter Gebiet" because "Gebiet" is a neuter noun. Therefore a singular adjective is going to end in "e", "em" or "es", depending on what the rest of the sentence is. |

Re: Last word (help with Sütterlin)
Hi,
the first word is "rotem". The lower case Sütterlin "s" for word endings looks much different. Since the beginning of the phrase is missing, it might be "... auf rotem Gebiet" or "... in rotem Gebiet" (i.e. on or in red area). This still sounds pretty mysterious to me. Regards, klemchen |

Re: Last word (help with Sütterlin)
Hello,
But any idea about the 'compressed' word because the lack of space at the end of paper? (after the abreviature of bombe) Thank you |

Re: Last word (help with Sütterlin)
Maybe "vorh." i.e. abbreviation of "vorhanden"
"keine 250kg Bomben vorhanden" = "no 250 kg bombs available" Regards Roland |
