Re: JFV 15/I

I got my copy yesterday, and have so far only had a fast look on the JG 5 section - which seems to be brilliant!

There are however som unfortunate mistakes on the maps on pages 18 and 22: Finland signed an "interim Peace agreement" with USSR and Great Britain (which had declared war on Finland 6 December 1941) on 19 September 1944, and the current border was established. This new border line goes west of Bay of Viipuri and should thus be indicated at the top of the map on page 18.

On page 22 map Finland´s current eastern border is correctly indicated, but already on 20 June 1944 the Red Army occupied Viipuri (Swedish and German Wiborg) which is correctly described in the text of page 23. This should definitely also be indicated on the map on the opposite page - with the bolded front line on 20 June 1944!

The upper part of the maps on pages 6 and 9 (front locations on 20 June and 31 August 1944) should also be appropriately corrected.

I hope that the maps can be corrected in Vol. 15/II.

I also received vol. 15/1 the other day. I only flicked through it; a great reference, excellent printing quality.
I am looking forward to getting vol. 2 as well, when time is right.

Jochen
What is the print status of 15/II? I assume it has been sent to the printer by now.
