Lockheed Vega

Hi

I have a question about the Lockheed Vega from Wiley Post. Are the NC 105W and the NR 105W the same plane? NC 105W have some windows, the NR 105W had no windows and was possibly used for the second flight from Post?

Regards, Christian

Re: Lockheed Vega

Yes Christian

It is the same aircraft. Built as a Vega model 5B it was later converted to a Vega model 5C and used as such on Post's record solo flight around the world

Cheers
Stig
