Re: NJG Paul Zorner passed away yesterday

I first met and stayed with Paul in 1999 when I was researching my first book in which he was one of the subjects.

I went to various night fighter reunions with him and enjoyed numerous trips to his home with my wife and daughter over the last 15 years. A real gentleman who endured 5 long, hard years as a prisoner of the Soviets.

He was a close friend who will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Our condolences go to Gerda, his wife of almost 70 years.

Re: NJG Paul Zorner passed away yesterday

David Williams was kind enough to introduce me to Paul Zorner at his home in Germany on a couple of occasions.

He was always very kind and generous with his time. I know that his health was on the decline for several years. I am glad that he is finally at peace.

I will treasure the visits that Dave and I had with this great man.
