Brian Cull's "249 at Malta" anything new there?

I am a great fan of Brian Cull's work and have nearly all of it in my collection. His latest is 249 at Malta. I would have thought that the subjected would have pretty much been covered in his previous books 249 at War, Hurricanes Over Malta and Spitfires Over Malta. The question I have is this simply a recap of information from his previous works?
