He 70 F-2 KN+ND

Hello gentlemen!

What is the fate of this wonderful airplane? Picture shows He 70 F-2,
KN+ND with FFS A/B 23 on airfield Reichenbach in summer 1942.

Thank you very much in advance!

Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben,

Wolfgang

Re: He 70 F-2 KN+ND

Hi GrafWolf

My last entry is the following:
FFS A/B 23, 41, 10.11.42 (Kaufbeuren)

Unfortunately, I have no WNr for this plane.

best wishes
JoMe

Re: He 70 F-2 KN+ND

Hi Wolfgang

This is WNr 1135 reg as D-UMAX after production in May 1935 and known to have been with Sch/FAR 62 in Nov 1939 when it also most likely received its STKZ KN+ND. It is next recorded with Sch/FAR 23 in July 1941 (in Kaufbeuren) and also in Nov 1942.

Unfortunately there all trace of the aircraft ends (for me)
I would also like to know what happened to it

Cheers
Stig
