Flying Officer D H Petch RCAF, Pilot Spitfires & Stirlings!

Hi,

The above pilot was killed on November 18th 1943 while flying as 2nd pilot on board a 623 Squadron Stirling.

I have been told that he had previously flown an operational tour on Spitfires with Fighter Command in 1942. Can anyone please confirm this.

Flying Officer Douglas H Petch RACF J/14027

TIA
Steve
