Luftwaffe claims 15/4/40 off Denmark?

Hi All
I'm just researching the loss of a Blenheim lV of 110 Squadron on the 15th of April 1940.
The aircraft was piloted by South African Lt Mervyn Lascelles Morris, with Southport's LAC Richard Henry Mercer and Sgt Leslie Bancroft as crew.
I am trying to find the truth for Sgt Bancroft's daughter, the family never knew the facts of his loss.
The information I have found so far seems to leave little doubt they were attacking a German patrol ship off the Danish coast, conflicting reports suggest they were either hit by Flak, or shot down by an Me109.
Two Blenheims left RAF Wattisham at 06-10hrs , the surviving aircraft returned around 11.00 hrs, suggesting the combat took place around 09.00 hrs

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any such Luftwaffe claims?
Any help will be most appreciated.

Try out the "Airwar over Denmark" by Søren Flensted.

Very good site, even if I could not find anything on April 15th.

Best wishes

From Michael Balss' excellent database... 15/04/40; Oblt. Georg Graner; 3.(J)/LG 2 claimed a Blenheim west of Sankt Peter-Ording (i.e., off the German coast, south of Denmark border). The time logged in as 10:37 (Germany), which would correspond to 9:37 in England.

Sinisa
