II / SG1 activity in October 1944.
Does a member of the forum have information on the activity of II / SG1 during the month of October?
Does anyone have daily losses for the month? Thanks |

Re: II / SG1 activity in October 1944.
Laurent,
Guess that the Squadron Diary have not survived...am not sure...it would be easier for us sprog and Professional Historians if those original manuscripts were preserved...with daily activities, claims, losses, who was on Hospital, who was away from flying (license) or promoted, or awarded, etc....Am not sure if in the Bundesarchiv you may find something. Maybe an expert from Germany can give you a hand, if the document you are looking for does exist. Humbly yours, Adriano OBS: Me too would have liked to read the War Diary and daily claims and losses of III/NJG 1 commanded by Martin Drewes or some Reconaissance Units of the LW... |
