Exclamation Initial burial place 358FG losses over Belgium December 7 1944

Hello ,

On December 7 1944 two P-47D-10-RE 42-75064 and 42-75124 from the 358FG / 367FS flown by 2nd Lt Bedford Corlys A. (KIA) 0-671488 Cuyahoga County Ohio and Maj. Younglas Donald A. (KIA) 0-417813 Genessee County Michigan were lost over Dendermonde Belgium. Both are buried in the States , but does someone knows were they first were buried in Belgium ?

Alain, these losses were on 7 Jan 1944 in France. See france-crashes39-45 website. Groet, Leendert

Bedford Grave 46 and Younglas Grave 48, both buried at the community cemetery Rue de Mons, Maubeuge, Northern France.
Reference AV 503/44.
