Werner Baake
Hello
I am trying to work out what exact aircraft Werner Baake flew in on the night of the 3/4 November 1943. I know it was a bf110 and found a code of G9+ML and he was with 3 staffell/NJG 1. Would this be his aircraft on this date? Thanks Graeme |

Re: Werner Baake
Hello Graeme,
Unfortunately there is no 'Einsatzbefehl' nor flight log book (not of Baake, Waldbauer or Schaffer) in which I could check the call sign of Baake's aircraft this particular night. Even if we did know the call sign the previous night, it still could be that Baake took off a next night in another Bf110 with a different call sign. At least there is a very reasonable chance (but no guarantee) that the call sign of Baake's Bf110 was G9+..L so that is all I can answer... Best regards, Marcel Hogenhuis
