I don’t know the particular model but a Peil Gerät is a receiver for taking bearings on a radio beacon, to assist with navigation.

ADI(K) report 357/1945 on Luftwaffe Navigational Aids II describes PeGe (Peil Gerät) 6 under D/F Loop Equipment as a successer to the PeGe 5 . It notes in the opinion of a P/W from KG 40 the automatic D/F facilities of the 6 were less reliable than the manual operated system of the 5 .
