I have 03 Sep as the date and the crew as Ofw. Weissenbach Günther F, Obltn. Tornuschat Willi B and Gefr. Hecht Willi Bf. One child and one woman were also killed in the crash. Any thoughts?

Norbert

Re: crash of Do 17 september 1941

My mistake for the crew I mixed 2 different crews + wonder why I earch for the 3.september, maybe because of Ober Ochlitz nd the civil casualties...

Rémi

The case looks awkward

Re: crash of Do 17 september 1941

Thanks Remi and Norbert,
I´m now perplexed, what date and unit is right?
I think, Norbert is right, during the crash Do 17 directly on some farmhouse killed Mr.Fröhnel and her son Herbert (born 1938), both were buried in Ober Rochlitz.
Crewnames I quote are possibly wrong only from my friend and not from any original dukument!
