1483 Flight Tiger Moth

The history of Tiger Moth T5468 seems to show it being transferred from 296 Sqn (Hurn) to 1483 Flight on 11 Oct 42. It was eventually struck off charge in May 44.

Can someone please give me some more details about 1483 Flight? Where was it based and what else did it operate?
Thanks,
Andy

I take it you already have what has been published in RAF Training and Support Units since 1912?
This particular Tiger is mentioned there as a support aircraft only (since the unit was a target towing flight)
I am pretty certain Malcolm already have those details, but if you want them I can send them to you directly.

OK Andy

I will scan the page and send it over. One problem though. I need the support of my wife, since there is no direct connection any more between the scanner and the computer.
She is the technical genius in the familly....
Right now she is watching a movie on the tele, so it has to wait until tomorrow....

Cheers
