Would anyone be able to help with Hurricane LE135 service records, along with the possible date that this aircraft first came into service.

Thank you for your input, i had found this whilst researching the pilot but was hoping to find out more about the aircraft's previous history (if any) before its final flight.

RAF museum will have its Form 78 and Form 1180

Contact them and place an order

What would be the best way to do this? is it a matter of just asking for the form 78 and Form 1180 to LE135 is there also a fee? not a problem if there is as it would be great to get the history of the Hurricane.

I have had quite a bit of luck just emailing them for one of my projects. when I emailed for F1180 for about a couple of dozen serials, they sent me two or three of what i asked. Later on, my project got picked up by a semi government institution and i had them send a letter, and they responded with F1180 for a couple of dozen more!

You should certainly get what you need as its only one serial.
