Hi Harrison,

Very good new,

What type of engine (England)? (DB 605D, DB605ASB ASC)
What is the period of restoration (England)? 2 or 3 years and more?

I hope to see that plane in meeting.

thanks

Hello harrison987,

I went through your former posts and found no reference to an Bf 109 K restoration project. Any further information would be highly appreciated

Cheers

Marc

Re: 109 K4 restoration project???

(Copy from my post over in LEMB)
Maybe some further three Buchons undergoing the usual metamorphosis

Just in case you do not know - there´s a batch of 109 fuselages in work. it looks like there´s a rather huge demand?

Re: 109 K4 restoration project???

There's no mention of any "K" survivors on this site. All new build???

Re: 109 K4 restoration project???

Hi guys,

The on in the UK is from a Belgian Crash-site. it was purchased directly from the farmer whose property it was on. I have seen photos, and it is in good condition...however I cannot post any photos as I was asked not to. What I can tell you is the old Black 6 restoration team is involved, and it is a DC engine from what I remember.

One in Germany is a new-build, the other is another original K...but being built with other original Me109 parts from other wrecks.

I read on "Le fana de l'aviation" (french magazin) date 1993, that Mr. Wagner store a pair of K4 wings for a static restoration.
