From a Seafire\Spitfire crash site in Salerno
We are returned on a actually unidentified Seafire\Spitfire crash site near Salerno (September 1943). We find some other fragments.
The place Panorama from the place. Salerno's Bay It is not easy to search.... Part of starter engine button: 5D/529 A. M. The same part in origin Spitfire panel. In yellow the starter button. In red other parts we find in previous searches. Part of compass Type P 8 N° 86203.H Compass Type 8 in origin Unidentified part: D4029 Unidentified part Unidentified part. Oxygen? Unidentified part. Electric? Unidentified part Explosed bullets of 20 mm gun We hope in next searches to find part that can permit us to identify aircraft and his unlucky pilot. |
