Re: Do 26 Post-Norway 1940

Fourth Do 26 ferried to Brest on 1/9.On 10/9 orders are given that "a further Do 26 aircraft of Gruppe Brest" is to be ferried to Gruppe Nord (apparently in Trondheim). RM 6/181 adds that: 11/8, Extract from Ob.d.L. Sitrep: Brest-Lanvéoc attacked with HE bombs and MG. 1 Do 26 and 1 Bizerte slightly damaged by fragments and MG-fire. Damaged Do 26 will be taken back to Travemuunde for repair. |
