Hello all,

Does anyone know if there was a railroad-yard attack during the 22-2-45 in Stadskanaal? .According witnesses there were a few planes wich dropped bombs and a house nearby was damaged and wall collapsed nobody was hurt.Unfortenatly there is no report in the archives and in the municipality.
Airfield Eelde-Groningen is approx 20 miles SE .
And if there was a attack wich Allied ?

Hello Harrie,

A Mosquito reported to have attacked the station at Stadskanaal during Operation Clarion, a huge combined attack by RAF and USAAF units against transport targets in Holland, Germany and Austria.

The mossie perhaps of 413 RCAF ?
