Can anyone suggest who was the St Kap when they were based at Conteville post-18 Aug 40?

Re: St Kap 3./ZG 26

Reviewing all of our officer career notes, we find the following Staka 3./ZG 26 for the time period in question:

Oblt. Paul Förster (05.02.40 - 04.07.40).
Oblt. Hans-Jürgen Kirchoff (no earlier than 02.06.40? - 18.08.40 KIA).
Oblt. Josef Graf von Hoensbroch (11.40 - 01.11.41).

We hope that this helps.

Re: St Kap 3./ZG 26

Thanks Gentlemen. I have 2 group photos in which there is a Hptm, the only one I can therefore think is Mackrocki

Re: St Kap 3./ZG 26

Guys

This topic must have been up for discussion before since I have made changes in the list published by Meyer/Stipdonk in their book.

'My' list now reads:
01.05.1939-05.02.1940: Oblt Friedrich-Karl Dickoré
05.02.1940-04.07.1940: Oblt Paul Förster
04.07.1940-18.08.1940: Hptm Hans Jürgen Kirschoff
19.08.1940-28.11.1940: Hptm Gerhard Schoen
29.11.1940-01.11.1941: Oblt Josef Graf von Hoensbroch

Does that still make any sense?

Cheers
Stig

Stig: You are right as Larry Hickey was asking about Schoen a year or so ago. The chap in the photo is a Hptm and the Staffel is stated as being 3 Staffel but the body of Hans-Jürgen Kirchhoff (note spelling) was washed ashore at Zuydcoote and buried as an Oblt
