Oh, those codings!!! KG 28 this time!

Hello,

I simply cannot read what it says here....the flights are from Oct. 7. to Oct. 18. 1941. I have read about KG 28 but whether it is "U" or "W", 10. or 12. Staffel, I can't read.
I don't know if it's possible for anyone to help me with this, but I met the wall (again) this time.

Thanks in advance,

Christian

The 10. or 12. Staffel would suggest the IV. Gruppe. I have never heard of IV./KG 28. By, say, mid-1940, the whole Geschwader was reduced to its I. Gruppe. Sure it is KG 28?

Re: Oh, those codings!!! KG 28 this time!

Thank you for your response.
I am not sure about this at that time. Maybe KGr. 126......he flew at this time from Bourges in France to/from The channel island of Jersey.
The reason for my writing KG 28 is, that on Nov. 28. the same year he is posted missing in Russia, this time with 3./KG 28. I have this Info from his logbook and GQM.

Regards,

Christian

At that time the man flew with Ergänzungsstaffel/KG 28 at Bourges, it's code was 1T+xU.
