Advanced Landing Groung A-43, St. Marceau
Hi all,
I am seeking any info on the subject ALG located just north of Le Mans. It was initially occupied by P-38s of the 474th FG for two weeks in early Sept 44. Specifically looking for a precise location and airfield layout. Cheers, Gary Koch (474th FG Association Historian) |

Franck and Leendert,
Merci and thank you for the information. I was familiar with the IX Engineering Command site, but not the French site. I'll have a couple of my French researchers take a look at it for me and see if they can't contact the webmaster for more information. Cheers, Gary |
