Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel Fritz Yung - 24 April 1944
Hello
Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel Fritz Yung (11 victories) of 1./JG 301 was shot down and wounded in aerial combat with USAAF P-51 fighters near Markt Schwaben on 24 April 1944. Would anyone have additional information regarding this incident that put an end to his combat career? Horrido! Leo |

Hello,
Fritz Yung was a half year in Lazarett he lost a lowerbone and burns to face and hands, after recovery he was till end of war flight instrutor with TA152 and Me109 , he flown till his age 88 activ regards |
