Need Info From "Losses of the Eighth and Ninth Air Forces" by J.A. Hey
Need info on a B-17 piloted by Lt Max Judas 306BG, 368 BS (although the plane was from the 423 BS) shot down by EA returning from Wilhelmshaven May 21, 1943. I have MACR 16173, but heard this book has more info. Does anyone have this book or know where I can purchase it?
Thanks, Art castle ab_castle@hotmail.com |

Re: Need Info From "Losses of the Eighth and Ninth Air Forces" by J.A. Hey
Why was Arrison's body not recovered until after the war? Would the Germans have left the wreckage to sit for the remainder of the war without investigating? Is there any way to get the exact location of the wreckage (where Arrison was eventually retrieved)? My uncle was 1st Lt Foster Daniels (B), so I am very interested in this particular B-17 and would appreciate any info.
