He219 Paint ID
Hey all, new to the forum but I’ve read a few threads for about a year now. About a year ago bought a piece of he219 fuselage skin, but it’s not the standard camo. Look to me like a mix of RLMs 76,81, and possibly 82/83? Has anyone seen a he219 in similar camo? It looks to me like the 76 was the main body color due to the mg151 access port still being 76, with traces of 82/83 on top. maybe the 81 was painted on top of the body late war for hiding it, and the 82/83 on top of the 76 on the rest of the body. The seller said it was found at Hagenow/Mecklenburg. Has anyone heard of an he219 going down in the area? Due to an 83 being found on a few of the panels he is believing it to be He219 A-0, W. Nr. 190183; or He219 A-7, W. Nr. 310183. Any help with the paint, camo scheme, any information at all is highly appreciated. Thanks.
