Re: RAF JU-88 accidents.
When you say accident reports, what exactly do you mean?

Re: RAF JU-88 accidents.
Thanks for all help. The correct Wnbr number should of been 620788 not 758. Since these aircraft were in RAF control, an accident report was generated, when they crashed. All these accidents were mid to late 1945.

Re: RAF JU-88 accidents.
Thanks. Are you therefore saying that these are Accident Investigation Branch reports or some other form of report. I am not aware of any Ju 88 reports in the 1945 series of Accident Investigation Branch reports at Kew. Can you be more specific in your response. It would certainly be interesting to see copies of these reports. I think what you're looking for (at least in part) is:
622983 (AM 1) was a Ju 88 G-6 which overshot the runway at Foulsham on delivery to the RWE suffering Cat B damage. 620788 (AM 14) was a Ju 88 G-6 damaged beyond repair at CFE Tangmere on 18/7/45. 622960 (AM 32) - Ju 88 G-6 - overshot at Heston on 15/10/45 and was struck off charge. These are the most obvious captured Ju 88 accidents. |

Re: RAF JU-88 accidents.
Hello Richard,
This is indeed interesting. Are there any accident reports on British Ju388, 188, He 219, or Do335 for 1945 onwards also? Where could these reports be found? Martin |

These appear to be available on microfilm at the RAF Museum Hendon. I hope to make a trip there next year. Steve |

Re: RAF JU-88 accidents.
The AHB also has these cards but will not send copies for risk of litigation from relatives. They refer you to the RAFM who charge
