Re: Soviet Losses on 04/10/1941
Hello, Michel
Maybe preferably history' background? 04.10.41 Ofhr. Hans Osswald - 9./JG 27 I-18 südöstlich Andrejewskoye 08.02 04.10.41 Oblt. Erbo Graf von Kageneck - 9./JG 27 DB-3 Michejewa 13.55 04.10.41 Oblt. Erbo Graf von Kageneck - 9./JG 27 SB-2 Spass 14.08 04.10.41 Oblt. Erbo Graf von Kageneck - 9./JG 27 Pe-2 südlich Cholm 16.52 Андреевское; Михеево; Спас/Спасс; Холм "Are there many dons Pedro in Brazil..." But if there is a background, then I think: - Andrejewskoye (= Knyazhino - germ. Andrejewskoje) - 55.439236 33.637709 (there are 2 of these villages in the area) - Michejewa (? = Mikheevo - germ. Michjejewa) - 55.437284 33.806626 - Spass (maybe ? =Spas-Kurgan - germ. Szpass) - 55.381778 33.877352 (there are about 3 of these villages in the area) - Cholm (maybe ? =Kholm-Zhirkovskiy - germ. Cholm) - 55.510272 33.486301 (there are about five of these villages in the area) Best regards, Kirill |

Re: Soviet Losses on 04/10/1941
In that area (a bit North of Kholm-Zhirkovskiy) worked 47 combined air division - there were no bombers; fighters does not fit the time and place. There also worked 46 mixed air division (150 BAP + 180 IAP) - with strikes (Berlin time) 09.57 (no losses), 14.10 and 16.40 (no losses). In departures, the crews fought with fighters during the day. Claimed several Bf-109s in the Kanyutino-Rudakovo area (West-Northwest of Kholm-Zhirkovsky) . Perhaps the claims in 13.55-14.08 are associated with the loss of 1 SB (ml. Lieutenant Scherbina) to fly with the bombing in 14.10 column of tanks in the area Puzikovo, Alferkovo, Markovo (to the West of Kholm-Zhirkovskiy). The second SB had holes in the gas tank and wounded the radio operator. The attached air defense group had one MiG-3 loss, but in the period 16.00-17.00.
