Information concerning Feldwebel Karlfrieder Schumacher lost on 31st May 1944

Hi,
Can anyone provide information on the unit and loss of Feldwebel Karlfrieder Schumacher who was killed in air combat on 31st May 1944
I know he waws a Feldwebel and Flugzeugführer in a Jagdgeschwader
and held the Deutschen Kreuzes in Gold,EK I und II, der Goldenen Frontflugspange, der Ostmed. u. d. Verwend.-Abz. but do not know with which unit he flew with and how he was killed. Could someone direct me to the most suitable text?

Karl Schumacher flew with 8./JG 52 and was awarded the DKiG 08Feb43. He was credited with 56 "kills"

Hi,

Fw. Schumacher was killed while flying in the Bf 109G-6 WNr.163165, marked black 2.

Hello! I just came across this forum, and saw some people know of Karlfrieder Schumacher.

I as wondering what info you could tell me beyond what is listed above. I h=am his sister's grandson, and am starting to look into my history. I know that he was shot down in '44 (I have a picture of him from Nov. '43), when he was 24, but know litle else about his service. I believe he has a grave site in Austria.

Thanks for any info you can provide!!
