Luftwaffe/RAF combat 10miles W.of Holyhead

Good evening,
I am hopeing to identify the Luftwaffe aircraft involved with two Hurricanes 615 Sqn. Valley on 14 May 1941. It escaped after causing damage to the two Hurricanes.
Many thanks.

Luftwaffe records say that a recce ac engaged in a mission to Barrow was attacked by 2 Hurricanes 30 km NW of Anglesey at 1815 hrs, one of which they shot down. Unit should therefore be Aufkl.Gr 123

Expect you already have this and eliminated them.
But just in case.
13/5/41 -7/JG53 claimed 1 Hurricane.
14/5/41 - 8/JG53 claimed 2 Spitfires.
15/5/41 - 9/JG3 claimed 2 Hurricanes.

It's not mentioned in Harald Rabeder's book on 1.(F)/123 but there are several other missions to NW England described there, so it was on their "patch".

JG 3 and JG 53 would not have been operating over North Wales and my hunch is 3.(F)/123

Might there be anything in von Well and Gastager's The Easter Bunnies? (I don't have the book; my understanding is that Gastager was in 3.(F)/123.)
