Old script translation on reverse of portrait photo needed
Hi to all,

The person is Ogfr Wendenburg, Helfried, who was killed 18 July 1940 in Ju 52/3m See, 5701, RM+AL, at Gabinkirchen (Notlandung infolge Brand im Heckstand. Bruch 100 %.). He was Schreiber from 2./606 and passenger in this aircraft.
Obviously his parents gave this picture as a memory to somebody according to the text. Matti

"Zum freundl(ichen) Gedenken und liebenden Erinnerung an unseren lustigen Helfried von Euren
Toni(maybe Antonia) und Richard Wendenburg Helfried geb. 02.08.1917 Fliegertod 17.07.40" Hope this helps Roland
