Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Thanks Rudi for your constant "hunt"...
But I'm not going to thank you each time you post here; once a month should be enough.
Just keep in mind I thank you very much
BR,
Franck.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Thanks Rudi,

(Well, sometimes more than once a month!)
...
G-6 Erla found at Reims, September 1944. A similar shot does exist but with a different GI on top... Maybe a friend!

Regards,
Franck.

Further to this plane: Erla built Bf 109 G-6 W.Nr. 41. ..., Frontschleuse Reims, September 1944. The other shot mentioned by Franck is from the Collection James Pruett and published in Barnes, Crump and Sutherland 2011, p. 62.

Thanks RudiS !

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Regarding the Bf 110 G-4's and Ju 88 G's, those planes seem to be the ones captured at Fritzlar. Any confirmation ?

Cheers and thanks again, RudiS!
