332nd FG on March 20 1945
Hello,
does somebody know where is exact crash-place for P-51B, s/n 43-7068, piloted by F/O Newman C. Golden? According to MACR F/O Golden bailed out in vicinity of Wels, Austria, on March 20 1945. But what about crash-place of plane? As well I would like to ask if somebody does have any picture of him in printing quality. Thanks for help Michal |

Re: 332nd FG on March 20 1945
Hi,
Co-ords given I assume as where last seen were 48 Deg 14 min N by 14 Deg 04 min E that puts the last seen between Linz and Wels while Waldneukirchen is to the South of both places and a little to the west of Steyr. So may well be the crash sight. He became a POW Alex |
