Luftwaffe over Britain Tip and Run 1942 Chris Goss
Hi Chris - and others, this title* is over 10years old and we are still searching for more info regarding Sola Aviation museum’s Bf109 airframes history.
As mentioned in the book, Fw190 was covered by Bf109 in the operations over the channel. We found the British / Belgian 350 Sqn. part of the operation on 30.7.42, Is there more info regarding the 11./JG 26 Höhenstaffel to be found? and thees cover / separate operations over Britain? * (Luftwaffe Fighter-bombers Over Britain: The Tip and Run Campaign, 1942-1943) Regards Ernst |

Re: Luftwaffe over Britain Tip and Run 1942 Chris Goss
Ernst: I am not 100% sure what you are asking. May-June 1942, 10./JG 2 and 10./JG 26 had converted to the Fw 190 and 11./JG 26 had formed mid-July 1942 with the Bf 109G-1 and in November 1942 moved to the Mediterranean. No new information has emerged since publication of my book
