Uffz Gluttig

I wish to find out if possible what happened to this pilot probably shot down on 6 March 1944 somewhere in the area of the Netherlands and western Germany. He flew with 7./JG11 and died on the same mission as Hptm Hugo Frey was shot down and killed near Sleen, Netherlands.

There is no VDK listing for Uffz Gluttig but I can find Josef Kluttig who died on the same date and is now buried in Vechta, Germany.

Please can anyone say whether Gluttig and Kluttig are one and the same and, if so, which name is correct? Please could I have the aircraft details too and specifically where it crashed? Thanks in advance. Dave

Re: Uffz Gluttig

Yes, it is the same guy. He crashed near Twistringen, northeast of Vechta.
