He111 Wknr 161880
Hi all,

Does someone have information on the he111 with wknr 161880?
The only information I have is that it belonged to KG53. My guess is that
it was build/delivered to the Eastern front in 1944.

- did it also belong to another KG?
- what was its fate?
- any other information is welcome!

It could very well be that this he111 was used during the Poltava raid on June 21/22 1944.

Still looking for more information.

He 111H-16 WNr. 161880 build during October 1943 and was A1+AD during spring 1944. I have no final fate for this plane.

WNr. 161880 was reported with III/KG 53 at Eggebek on 9. Jan. 1945.
Source ist Ultra HW5/649. No other infos given.

I think it is save to says that this He111 was used in the Poltava raid if serviceable on that date.
