Question about Clen or Glen H. Bronson,

Hello,

I´m searching informations about Clen or Glen H. Bronson, 38396781. He was killed in Action on 03.Oktober1944 and buried on Giessen cementary.

Perhaps he was a member of the crew of Edmund L. Dornburgh, MACR 9344, but in the crew list is this person not listed.

Thanks.
Regards.

Re: Question about Clen or Glen H. Bronson,

Hello,

thank you Horst Weber. This is my problem. I found this name in the german KU Report of a crash on 03.Okt.1944. In the german cementary archiv this name was also listed. I checked also this name with my files an with the files from abmc with no result.

It is possible that Glen H. Bronson was not a crew member, perhaps a man from the ground crew on board as a guest???

Greetings

Re: Question about Clen or Glen H. Bronson,

Flugplatz,

The name is Glenn H. Bronson. His ASN unfortunately gives no match with the enlistment records at NARA.

Found his name however on airforcehistoryindex.org and he's also mentioned on accident-report.com

He was involved in a landing accident at Podington in B-17E 41-9154 on 25 Jun 1944. Pilot was Lt. Warren Manning that day. Unit 92nd BG, 327th BS.

Since Dornburgh was also in 92nd BG, 327th BS, Bronson may indeed have been a crew member that day? Mystery remains of course why his name isn't on a/the MACR...

Regards,

Leendert
