Me 109 Serial number 330388

Hi All,

some years ago we found some relics which we clearly could identify as Me 109parts. One part of the gear which connects with the fuselage we found the number 30388. Based on Hans Peter Voigt's book, about Me 109, it could be the serial number.
No looking for the history of this plane. (built when and where, unit, crash details etc.)
Thanks a lot in advance

Rolf

Rolf, you give a six-digit number in your heading and five-digit one in your post. Which is the right one?
