Ju88 (8180) 4D+BH 1/KG30 3 May 1941
Hi guys
The above Ju88 belly-landed near Sheringham in Norfolk early on 3 May 1941. Fw Geiger was the pilot and apparently the air gunner was a 53-year-old Major with a WWI Iron Cross, on his first (and last) operational flight. Is this correct? And if so, who was he? Cheers Brian |

Brian,
I have B. Maj. Walter Seeberg, a photo. of the crew under escort appeared in a local? newspaper dated May 28th 1941. Caption includes ' A much older man raises his stick as he walks', Brian Bines |

Hi Brian
Super job once again! Do we know anything about Maj Walter Seeberg? Any chance of a scan of the newspaper picture? Cheers Brian |
