I/ZG26, 01.06.1941.

Hi, can anyone help confirm the names of the (Bf's) from the following 2 Messerschmitt Bf110's of I/ZG26, lost on 1st June 1941.

Werk.Nr.3906. Crashed at Kalamata, Greece. Uffz. Horst Klose (FF) killed (Buried at Dionyssos). Uffz. Ströhrl? (Bf) killed. Aircraft a write-off.

Werk.Nr.3951. Crashed near Braskmots, Crete. Hptm. Karl Heindorf (FF) killed (Buried at Maleme). Fw. Thomas Gubmann? (Bf) killed. Aircraft a write-off.

Regarding the second question, i have

FF. Hptm. Karl Heindorf, Bf 110 E1 (U8+KK, W.Nr. 3961) 100% mit BS. Fw. Thomas Gumbmann, beide (+) 01.06.41 25. Km. nördlich Kissamos-Bucht von Kreta, durch Flak abgeschossen.
First question agree with Matti

Thank you very much Matti and Byron.

It makes all the difference when the names are spelt correctly!

Now I have been able to find Gumbmann buried at Maleme, and Stöhrl buried at Dionyssos (Under the date of 31.05.1941).

Much appreciated.
