Two French airmen killed May 1940
Hi guys
I'm seeking the first names of four French airmen killed in May 1940. I assume they appear on a memorial somewhere. DOMAS, Sous-Maitre - killed flying Po631 on 18 May LE THOMAS, Sous-Maitre - killed with above on 18 May GOASGUEN, Sous-Maitre - killed flying an L-N.411 of AB2 on 19 May COLLINOT, Sgt-chef - killed flying a Po631 of ECN3/13 on 20 May. Fingers crossed! Brian Last edited by Brian; 10th May 2010 at 19:49. |

Hello Brian,
Please note that the right rank is "second maître" and not "sous-maître". Domas Roger Le Thomas Henri Goasguen Auguste Collinot Jean Still on your "friendly fire" project, I assume. Thanks to Lucien Morareau, the French Aéronavale expert. See you, Chris |

Many thanks Chris
Also thanks for pointing out my error regarding Aeronavale ranks I assume that it should be written Second-maître and not 2eMaître? Trust you are well Cheers Brian Yes, finalising Volume I Last edited by Brian; 11th May 2010 at 15:45. |
