Küstenfliegergruppe 506

At 1445hrs on 10 November 1941, Ju88 S4+SH of 1./506 attacked a passenger train north of Bridlington (East Yorkshire). I don't have any details of the Ju88 crew apart from the fact that bomber's Beobachter was Lt. Desamari. Can anyone provide further details and/or a photograph of the crew?
On the same day, Ju88 S4+HK of 2./506 was shot down by the escort destroyer HMS QUANTOCK. The aircraft crashed near Ravenscar, north of Scarborough (North Yorkshire). The crew of the Ju.88 was: Oblt Heinz Weber(P), Obfhr Karl Schütz(BO), Obfw Werner Hanel(BF),Uffz Artur Gräber(BM). Does anyone know where I might find further details and/or a photograph of the crew?
Any help appreciated.

Re: Küstenfliegergruppe 506

All we have in our files is:

WEBER, Heinz? 00.40 Oblt., appt Staka 1./Fl.Erg.Gr. (See) (to 07.41). 10.11.41 Oblt. Staka 2./Kü.Fl.Gr. 506 MIA – Ju 88 A-4 shot down by AA from HMS Quantock while attacking a convoy off Ravenscar, North Yorkshire, crashed near the cliffs at Blea Wyke Point. Believed buried anonymously at Thornby.
According to Kracker's database:

Weber, Heinz. - Oblt. - Stfkpt 2./Kü.Fl.Gr -506 Ju 88A-4 Werk # 1409 "S4 + HK" (lost)Bomber Operational ClaspMIA 10 November, 1941 after being shot down by gunfire from the escort destroyer HMS Quantock while attacking a convoy off Ravenscar, North Yorkshire. The Ju 88 took numerous hits and climbed steeply away, bursting in flames shortly afterwards, crashing at the foot of the cliffs at Blea Wyke Point. Remaining crew: Ofhr Karl Schültze, Observer (KIA), Ofw Werner Hanel, wireless operator (KIA) and Uffz Artur Gräber, gunner (MIA). The bodies of Karl Schültze and Hanel were recovered and buried at the Acklam Road Cemetery, Thornaby-on-Tees. It is believed that Weber and Gräber are also buried at Thornaby in two graves marked "Ein Deutsche Soldat".

Hopefully this will help

Re: Küstenfliegergruppe 506

Thanks for responding, Doug, although I was aware of most of it. Not sure about Gräber - but some years ago I persuaded the VDK that Weber was buried in Thornaby as 'Ein Deutsche Soldat'. They said that they would change the headstone - but we're still waiting. Could you suggest a possible source of crew pictures - or relatives?
