Ju88 shot down Beaufighter 10 May 1941
Hi guys
It would seem that a Ju88 (from Sicily) shot down a Beaufighter of 252 Squadron over the Med on 10 May 1941. It is believed that the Ju88 also sustained damage. Any details, please? Take care, stay safe Brian

There is a Gen.Qu. loss report, but it provides minimal information. Maybe there is casualty report that could shed more light? (I haven't checked the Shores volume that might include this. - on edit. Nothing listed there either.)

It seems that the victim is Beaufighter T3239 'B' of No 252 Sqn that failed to return from a convoy patrol. Tranter and Love KIA. Zoran
