Online-converter Luftwaffe Planquadrat

Hi Andrey

Many thanks for offering the Jägermeldenetz converter. As with the Gradnetzmeldeverfahren converter this will be extremely useful for all sorts of research into the location of Luftwaffe claims and losses and your efforts are very much appreciated.

Horrido!

Leo

The converter's page have own map with square grid, where you can find any Planquadrat without problem. I hope my work will be useful for all people who are interested in aviation's history.

Re: Online-converter Luftwaffe Planquadrat

a question please

I have an example of a Pl.Q. (Pl.Qu. 54783) which is given as a position in the Ijselmeer, south-west of Harlingen in the Netherlands.

How did my author arrive at this conclusion, and is it possible to work out the Greenwich geographic coordinates using only this information - ie Großtrape, Mitteltrapez, Kleintrapez and Meldetrapez?

Re: Online-converter Luftwaffe Planquadrat

Here you have the original archival website, https://web.archive.org/web/20181027.../gradnetz.html enter the data from the Luftwaffe map and the coordinates should be displayed at the bottom.
