Hallifax BIII LW692 PT-V
Hello,
In my village Hautot sur Mer (France), the Hallifax BIII LW692 PT-V crashed on April 20th 1944 in the hamlet of Pourville sur Mer. Would you have information on the plane and its crew? Thank you in advance for your answers. François |

Re: Hallifax BIII LW692 PT-V
Hello François,
Regrettably, I've not been able to find a Flak claim for LW692 during the research of the Nachtjagd Combat Archive series. Do you perhaps have any info from local records about the (exact) time of crash of LW692? Cheers, Theo |

Re: Hallifax BIII LW692 PT-V
Hello Theo,
I don't have the exact time of the crash for the moment but the account of the secretary of the town hall specifies that the plane flew over the town shortly before midnight. I enclose the extract from the book "Zone côtière" published in 1946 and written by the secretary of the town hall. Yours sincerely, François |
