City Code Names

Gents,

I am looking for details where I can locate information on the various codes used by Bomber Command to identify towns and cities, examples : Trout C - Minnow "B" - Herring - Ant - Mamba - Python to name a few.

Any pointers ?

TIA
Steve

Re: City Code Names

A list is available there:
http://www.amaot.de/bunker/fishcodes.htm

But only listing fish codes (your 3 first examples). No detail about what "B" or "C" after the fish names mean.
