Squadron emblem of ZG 2

Gentlemen,

I'm enclosing a picture which shows boots on the port engine cowling of a Bf 110 from ZG 2 (from late spring, 1942). Could you enlighten me, which squadron used this emblem? I guess, it was a squadron emblem, not a personal insignia.

TIA,

Hi

This "wooden shoe" was the unit-emblem from II./ZG 26. It was used from 1940 to 1944.

I have an original photo with this very emblem applied on the engine of a Me 410.
